This past weekend was yet another busy one!
Saturday started off early down at the netball courts umpiring two games of netball straight after each other. I headed home for lunch before I dug into cleaning... literally. My room was a mountain of clothes all of which I had to fit into one wardrobe. Every item in my wardrobe has a specific way it needs to be folded or hug in order for it to fit, trust me I got this down pack. It seems that every Saturday or Sunday is the day I clean and put all my clothes away. After that was done I did some more tidying up before watching some YouTube and TV shows and then heading to bed for some long awaited, and needed sleep!
Sunday was Mother's Day here in Australia and although I didn't get up early to make breakfast in bed (for my mother) everyone caught up on some sleep. Even if I made her breakfast in bed my mum would take it into the kitchen to save the bed getting dirty. Around lunch time we headed over to my Auntie and Uncle's place where my whole Dad's side of the family was for a Mother's Day Lunch. It was really lovely and I got too see my younger cousins and cake, which I always love.
We gave mum her presents at home which she loved (definitely dropped a few subtle hints). We got Ralph the dog from across the road for a play, some treats and a small walk. He is getting quite old but loves coming over each weekend. It was also the 1 year anniversary since his brother died, we still love and miss you Hercules. The sunset was just gorgeous as me and my sister took Ralph for a walk.
The rest of the night consisted of planning many blog posts up until I get back from America, which is so soon now. I can hardly wait, only 25 days. It's Monday now and the homework and study has already started piling up, ready for yet another busy week. Hoping I get over this cold I have at the moment, only you winter can be too blame, I can see you coming.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and spoilt your beautiful mothers, or got spoilt yourself if you are a mother and it is Mother's Day where you live! <3
