April Favourites!

OK! Woah what is with all my favourites this month matching? Weird I know.

I'm sort of admiring this months photos... the sky looks so luminous and clear and right now it's raining and cloudy. Honestly it has barely stopped raining this whole week and I'm getting over it.

It is now the month of May and each day I am getting more excited for America. So soon now only 35 days! I don't have many favourites this month, it has been quite busy and lots of things have happened. From here on in to July things aren't going to slow down, if anything they will get busier, but I will do my best to post as often as I can. So a few standouts this month would be obviously the school holidays, Easter, chocolate, going up to Orange and seeing the new puppies, being filmed by UNICEF Australia, being in the newspaper and much, much more!

Oaty Bars - Chocolate and Orange
One word... delicious
OK maybe more than one word but seriously I need more of these in my life. A cult product that isn't bad for you. I'm a fan of chocolate and orange together, and original oaty bars, but this takes it to a whole new level. If you see these in the supermarket pick them up an give them a go, trust me you will like them!

Sephora - Mango Creamy Body Wash
I've been loving this body wash this month and basically used it all up :(
I don't know if I can get it in the Sephora in Sydney because the smell of this stuff is too die for. With mango being my favourite fruit, I was quick to pick this up. It really is creamy and does the job and makes shower time enjoyable.

The Body Shop - Ultra Fine Bath Lily
I use this to apply to body wash and really lather it up! Most importantly it doesn't shed or come apart (praise emoji hands).

I think I may have found the conditioner and shampoo (not pictured) for my difficult hair. They don't weigh my hair down and the conditioner keeps my ends super soft and protected from heat. I use the shampoo from this line, along with my tea tree shampoo. I feel like I am finally satisfied with my hair care routine and I have noticed a difference in how long I can wait until I have to wash my hair again. Ever since I got it cut I was having to wash it every 3 days now I can go to 4 days sometimes 5.

This is my favourite moisturiser that I always end up going back to. Just like the bottle, it feels light on your skin but it is really moisturising and hydrates your skin. It gives me a nice glow and I wear it underneath my makeup and in my evening skincare routine. It is nice to start a fresh bottle of this after finishing up a mediocre moisturiser before hand.

Healthy Care - Paw Paw Lip Balm
Now this my be in my favourites but it isn't better than my Classic Chapstick. I love using this to add moisture and gloss over a lip product. Paw Paw is really good at healing lips and body scars/sores. This product makes your lips look nice and plump over lipsticks, especially matte ones.

Artist - Ben Quilty
I recently wrote an exam on Ben Quilty and George Gittoes. Both very interesting artists but I love Ben Quilty's technique and it seems to be very popular with many Art Express entries inspired by him. His artworks especially 'Captain S After Afganistan' have a deeper message. Quilty wants to convey the devastating effects of War on War Veterans.

TV Show - Hawaii Five O
It is an effort to wait for one episode a week, but I somehow manage. I don't know why I love this show so much, maybe because it's set in Hawaii= beach or the action, or the characters but it is just so thrilling and interesting. Only 4 days till the next episode!

Music
I've been really into all my old music lately and here are two of my favs. I don't know why I started listening to them again but I've basically listened to every song on my iTunes from A-F more than once. I've also been loving a playlist I created for an assignment.

Adele - I'll Be Waiting

B.o.B - So Good

Love Me Like You Do - Cover
I've been non-stop listening to this cover ever since it was posted. I like it more than the original song! Yep folks both voices are just lovely and I like how they incorporated a little bit of Ed Sheeran.

Hope you had a nice month! Welcome May.
