Bit of a random post but I was inspired to do something
colourful and a bit different, in regards to art. It is a little bit Aboriginal
and ‘indie’. Anyway I like how it turned out so…
Very few materials which include; paint, surface for the
paint (e.g. paper plate), end of a paint brush/es or another material with a rounded
end, rocks with a relatively smooth surface and a paper towel.
Sorry for some photos being out of focus. I tried to take
the photos at night and well lets just say I was getting quite frustrated at
the camera, though it is partially my fault. None the less I tried to make the
best of the situation.
And how friggen cute is this faux moss bunny I picked up
last Easter! Oh My Gosh I love it so much that half the photos are of it. Any
name suggestions feel free to leave down below in the comments!
It’s pretty easy you just use the back of the brush and a
steady hand to create small dots. Use whatever colours you would like and have
fun. I liked the effect of the colours in rainbow order. On some dots I put a
darker or lighter shade over the top for more detail and to create interest. I followed
up with tiny white dots everywhere, in a sort of patterned but not really just
go for it fashion!
(I mixed some colours together to create more colours and shades)
A quick guide:
Red + Blue= Purple
Blue + Yellow= Green
Yellow + Red= Orange
Mixing these colours will create tertiary colours, which in turn is a lot more options
Black turns the colour a darker shade.
White turns the colour a paler shade.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter!!
