March Favourites!

Another month has flown by and I have barely had a chance to try new products. Not many favourites this month because most are the same as last month. However I have a few items that I have been loving!

This month was filled with birthdays, parties, lots of assignments and exams, school retreat, community service at a pre-school for a week and I saw Miranda Sings perform live at her Sydney show. A busy month but non the less it has been rewarding.

Alrighty onto the products!

Redwin - Tea Tree Shampoo

I have been washing my hair more often ever since I went short, as my hair seems to get oiler quicker. It is a pain but I decided to use this shampoo to help control my oil production. Essentially what this shampoo does is strip and clean your hair from build up of other shampoos. It cleans your hair while not stripping your hair of it's natural oils. I have been using this amongst another shampoo for oily hair. I will usually use this most of the time but occasionally change it up with the other shampoo.

Clearasil - Pimple + Marks Lotion

Not only have I been tackling oily hair but a sudden break out... Maybe because my hair is always on my face! This product has really been a miracle worker. I noticed a difference in the size and redness of my pimples after one use. That's right folks, one use! I have been using it for about 1 and 1/2 weeks now and have seen a rapid difference in my skin. It looks healthier and has nearly cleared up completely. A bonus is I oddly like the smell, it's unusual but relaxing.

Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

Sticking with skincare I try to use a mask once a week. Whether that be a sheet mask, or a clay mask like this one.  The mask has a really minty smell, but not to over powering. The consistency is quite thick and is a pale green colour. The mask starts to dry on your skin within a couple of minutes. The colour changes and you ca really feel your face tighten up. I think I leave this mask on for too long but how bad can it be. My face feels softer, looks healthier and it helps remove blackheads.

Maybelline - Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

Holy grail drugstore eyeliner!!
You probably have heard everyone talk about this and yes I am late to the game. I seriously should have bought it sooner. IT IS AMAZING! Master Precise makes eyeliner super quick and easy. The finest applicator and super black. Doesn't smudge and stays all day. The eyeliner is waterproof but it is not difficult to remove with the rest of you makeup at night.
Couldn't be happier with this product, and a definite repurchase.

Swatch!

Sephora - Brightening and Hydrating Foundation

I have definitely and well in-truly tested out this foundation. I have had it for maybe I want to say a month. It has a medium-full coverage and is build-able without becoming cakey and gross. Good colour match, although some days I am a bit too pasty for it. Feels light on skin and has a light consistency. Stays on for a good 5-6 hours of good wear but still looks fine after 8 hours. Perfect for school, work, uni etc. The packaging is nice and light weight, and praise the lord for the pump! I have one tiny issue in which I don't particularly like the smell. It doesn't bother me to much because I reach for this foundation often.
Jeez today's post is just about my weird smell fetishes, haha.

H&M- Gold Bar Necklace

Last but not least, actually my favourite favourite of them all is this gorgeous simple gold bar necklace I purchased from H&M around 3 weeks ago. It has not left my neck since and I love it so much. I had honestly been looking everywhere for a simple gold bar necklace. I looked high and low but no one sold one like I wanted. I was looking for something simple and sophisticated that I could wear everyday with every outfit. I must say I was a little bit inspired by Essie Button (you could say she is my human favourite this month) and also my recent gold obsession.
I am still surprised that after everywhere I looked, whilst browsing through H&M I managed to find the perfect necklace, at an affordable price might I add. Perfect!

Well that is all for today. I hope you had a lovely month and ready for some more exciting posts in April now that my holidays start in 1 day!

p.s. I hope you liked my subtle excitement for Easter, which was not obvious at all through the chocolate eggs (winky face)
