Goodbye to another month that went by too quickly. I hate to break it to you but the year is nearly over (well kind of). Hello spring, warmer weather and flowers to all my southern hemispherians.Lets get straight into what I've been loving this month.
Maybelline Master Prime (Primer/base) - in green
Now if I'm going to be honest I didn't love this at first but I've definitely grown to love it. It works perfectly under foundation to moisturise and provide an even base for my foundation to blend into. It helps to prolong the wear of my makeup throughout long days and minimize redness.
LUSH Hot Toddy Shower Gel
Seems I may be a little early to the festive season... however I only just got around to using this and I love it. It is still cold in Australia so the smell makes me feel all cozy and warm. As strange as it sounds I love how it is bright red! And there's also some fine gold glitter inside. Just like the description it really is a 'Christmassy' scent with spices but it seems fitting for me to use it this time of the year.
L.A. Girl Pro conceal in Classic Ivory
This concealer is amazing, I can't believe I haven't spoken about it before and for the price well this is just a must have product. It does an amazing job at cancelling out dark circles under your eyes and doesn't crease. That is one thing I often find in concealers is their annoying tendency to crease but this beauty stays put from the minute of application. It is also very pigmented and does an awesome job at covering up blemishes too.
Real Techniques - Blush Brush
Not sure if this has been featured in a favourites before but more than ever have I been using this brush. I'm definitely going to have to pick up another, because I use this for bronzer, highlighter and sometimes blush. It is so soft and the tapered end makes it perfect for contouring and highlighting the face. It also looks very pretty and stylish.
Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder
Not much to say really apart from that again I've been loving this because even though it is matte it sets my makeup and still leaves a subtle glow on the face which is nice. I much prefer translucent powders over coverage powders because I find they look cakey so this little number is perfect!
Marc Jacobs Silver Ring
A gift from my sister and a beautiful piece to add to my jewelry, I've been wearing this most days and I love the three simple words that are engraved: nemo nisi mors
On the music front I've also been enjoying music from The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Flume and a new artist that is from my area; Lucy Neville, she has released two songs and has an up coming EP. Her music is very calming and she has a lovely voice you should definitely check her out!
