I finally went to the Pop to Popsim exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW on the weekend. There were lots and lots of artworks that all were presented lovely. Sadly you could not take photos for copyright purposes which is a shame because I would love to share them with you. Many different artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Litchenstein, Barbara Kruger, Howard Arkley etc.
I thought it was really nice that there was a dedicated Australian Artist area of the exhibition.
Loved seeing all of the artworks both ones I haven't seen before, ones I have studied in school and ones that everyone knows because they are so iconic.
I highly recommend this exhibition to anyone who has the chance. It closes on March 1st and is definitely something you won't want to miss if you love art.
I also saw Art Express 2015 while I was there. Look out for a post on the Art Express exhibition (HSC major works).
