Now I promised myself I wouldn't go on about how quickly another month went past but well it's now August, and we are well and truly half way through the year. Moving on, today I have a small collection of my beauty favs from this month to share. But first as usually a quick run down of the past month. I started the month travelling with my family to Malaysia and Singapore, once home again I caught up with friends making the most of holidays and of course catching up on a lot of missed sleep. School came around and I was back into my old routine. Boy do I miss travelling, not having to worry about much (except passport and electronics!) and always doing something exciting. Getting back into the swing on things with assignments and deadlines rolling in and HSC subject selection!
My first beauty favourite is the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. Now I have to give this credit and well deserved recognition because I really didn't think I would like it, I just picked it up not expecting much really. However I have found myself wearing it most days of the week, and I usually I prefer BB cream but this has converted me, opps! It does have a pink undertone to it but it manages to hide my redness and matches pretty well to my neck. My shade is 112. Lasts for a solid school day and doesn't feel heavy at all on the skin. I'd say medium build-able coverage and it does have a matte finish. Definitely not drying and my pores are less noticeable. I just like this foundation because it doesn't leave my skin looking cakey and it manages my shine throughout the day. Very low maintenance!
If you saw my latest beauty review than you will know that I have been loving this gorgeous foundation. M.A.Cs very luxurious and high quality Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. Head over to my latest post for a lot more info > Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation Review
A very summery, coconut fresh scent. Although it's still winter here in Australia I have been loving this body mist so much. Maybe I'm having summer withdrawal. Definitely my favourite scent from Victoria Secret. It is a very relaxing getaway scent, really does justice to the name and this is where I run out of how to describe scents.
I have been wearing Avon's Mousse bronzer in 'Island Glow' so much this month. I don't use it as a bronzer more as an eyeshadow base, or the perfect lazy girl shade for all over the lid. It leaves a subtle bronze shimmer on the lid, and with a darker matte shade in the crease it looks like you spent a lot of time on your makeup. A staple in an makeup collection for sure > similar one here
