Day 14 !!

Hello again!
My challenge today didn't turn out as well as I hoped it would but I love the original photo so I will put both in. This is a photo of my sister and Hercules the Maltese. Sadly Herc is no longer with us but his brother is and they are one of the best things in my life!

As you can tell my sketch is not that realistic but more of a characture if you know what I mean.
Enjoy your day!

Day 13 !!

Hello everyone.
I drew a giraffe for day 13's nature. I love giraffes so good opportunity. This was a really quick sketch, it took me like 2 minutes. So you could do something really simple like me or detailed and super creative!

Next time you are outside take in a deep breathe of fresh air and enjoy being outside.

Update - Melbourne and challenge !!

Hey guys I know I haven't done a post in so many days and I am so sorry!

So a quick update on my life:
I'm in a Melbourne, Australia for the Australian National Future Problem Solving Competition. I am with my team and two other teams from my school. We are only here for a couple of days and on our first day we went to the Queen Victoria Markets. I have some photos to share for you all and a mini 'haul' later. This doesn't mean I have forgotten about the 30 day art challenge. I have some previous days ready for upload probally tomorrow for you all, Today I had the competition and we find out if we are going to America (internationals tomorrow!) :)
Now I really want to finish this challenge and when I get home you should expect lots of posts. I have exams coming up soon and I need to prepare for them. I am going to take a break from YouTube and social media except this blog. This will be my break away from all of those study notes YAY!

Here are some photos:

Hope you liked the photos and sorry again for not posting, you will see them soon.
Have a lovely day!

Day 12 !!

Hello today I am excited to share with you all a project that I have been working on for school. I finally finished it and I just got back from my schools CAPA showcase night (creative and practical arts). It fits perfectly with day 12 challenge to draw a room, but instead I painted a large canvas in the style of Margaret Olley and Grace Cossington Smith. You will see that this is an exaggerated version of my living room. We had to use bright contrasting colors and include two painting techniques.

I used Grace's technique heavily on the chair and the curtain:

Margaret Olley's technique inspired me for the wall and the floor:

And thats it! I hope you liked it because I definitely put a lot more effort and time into this.

Day 11 !!

This was my breakfast today:

Try practicing with tones when you do a sketch, the same goes for painting as it gives the object a realistic 3D effect. You can use different types of pencils like 2B HB B etc. or you can press down hard to soft. Try imagine or look where the light hits the object (angle), so that area would be light and the other side would be darker.

I can do a more detailed post on this later if you would like.

Day 10 !!

So this challenge was a bit random...
fabric I mean really?? Anyway the closest 'fabric' to me was a blanket so why not! It isn't very detailed but oh well.

Day 9 !!

Same day I know this post is late!
Now that I am back at school and things are going to get very busy with exams I am thinking that I will post two days of the challenge every two days.. if you get what I mean. So today I have posted day 8 & 9 and tomorrow I will post day 10 & 11 and then in two days after that another two posts will go up. I am still doing the challenge but you will see what I man when they are posted.

So today I drew something/s that I love. Here are some quick sketches of things that I like. I love watching YouTube and I wrote some of the names of YouTubers that I enjoy watching. I also like make up, nail art, art, drama, travelling and exploring new things + my family and  friends but tbh I couldn't be bothered to draw all of them!

Have an excellent day/night!!!

Day 6 !!

Hello! Day 6 here.

An item of clothing:

I found my inspiration for today's challenge online because I have been loving pictures on pinterest and tumblr of fashion sketches and had to try this one out + perfect opportunity!
So many things you could draw, paint etc.  Let your creativity flow      ~~~~~~~~

(this is not an original sketch by myself which is also the same for some previous posts)

Day 5 !!

Hello again (couple minutes later)
I had fun with today's challenge, which was illustrate your fav quote. So one quote I like is by Coco Chanel, it's simple but it also has a deeper meaning. It is not a very inspirational quote, nor will it help me to achieve many life goals, but I think it is fun.
I have seen many people draw quotes, messages and sayings like this and I though why not, it could either go two ways; it could look bloody amazing like what you see on tumblr, pinterest etc. OR it could look horrible like a bunch of random fonts mashed together in a no order.
So here is how it turned out!

Overall I think I did a good job for a first go, though by the end I was running out of ideas and that's where it starts to go a little messy. So if you couldn't read it here is a picture of what it actually is HAHA!

Remember two posts tomorrow night (  Day 6 & 7 )!!!

Day 4 !!

I no, I no its late but finally do I have fast internet!
Day 4 is draw a place of rest and I drew me on my bed with my laptop. Lets be real here and say that I spend way to much time on my laptop and if I'm not at school (on my laptop), I'm at home on my bed on my laptop. This is pretty much where I do everything from blog posts, to homework, to catching up on shows and social media. So I decided that I would draw this seeing as it is where I go after school to relax and where I sleep at night. I drew this quick sketch from the perspective of me looking down onto my laptop (ooo watching some sneaky big brother ha!)
Here it is:

What is your place of rest? and sorry this is posted late, day 5 is also coming up today as well, along with day 6 & & tomorrow. Also sorry for the crap lighting I am going to try to do these during daylight now that school will be starting soon, cause I hope to get into a good routine!

Day 3 !!

Goodmorning/ afternoon/ evening everyone! Hope you are having a lovely day. My day was mostly spent with the puppies. They are just to cute and I wish I could take them home with me. Next time I'm up here they will be sold :( So today is draw something that inspires you, and I though about this all day. I realized there are a lot of things that happen, that inspire me, people inspire me, places I've been and amazing things I have seen on the internet. One of the most recent things to inspire me was going to Europe, more specifically The Peggy Guggenheim Museum. This was in Venice and it was a collect of artworks from various famous and non-famous artist. The exhibition was beautifully set out in her home, inside and outside. One artwork I really liked was this:

This message tells me that everything is changing and will always change, and that I / we need to embrace it. I also like it because it is simple and easy to remember. I should embrace my life each day wherever I am, what time it is, what I want to think and not to worry about the future too much. My version is not much of a 'drawing' but I like it and the colors and I think I might hang it somewhere where I can see it everyday.

What inspires you?
